IDS oh dear

If IDS isn't in deep trouble, the Conservative Party is trying to pretend he is.

Bonkers 'Bruce Anderson' today says that IDS has to resign if the Tories are to have any chance of winning the next election. An opinion poll says that only 53% of voters have heard of IDS, and only 7 in every 10 Tory vote.

More worringly the Conservatives trail Labour by 5 points in the latest poll, with a mere 31% of the vote. The Lib Dems are on 26%. This obvious has something to do with a Labor bounce after their conference, but probably also reflects the terrible time IDS is having.
