Blair, Labour, the Tories and the Telegraph
Two interesting stories in today's Guardian.First, 48% of voters believe the PM lied to parliament about the leaking of David Kelly's name, and nearly two-thirds believe he should resign if the Hutton report confirms this. Yet, 53% (up from 47% in November) believe the war was justified, and Labour retain 39% of the vote compared with the Tories' 35% (even after all the fixing to give the Tories a higher share and Labour a lower share).
Second, the new owners of the Daily Telegraph have said that they won't automatically support the Tory party, and in particular it won't function as the house organ of the Tory party.
