Turnout and competitiveness
Michael in the comments asks whether intention to vote varies with the competitiveness of the seat, i.e. in parliamentary seats which are safe is intention to vote lower?I don't have polling data, but certainly in the last G.E there was a relationship between the size of the winning vote (as a % of those voting) and turnout, which was turnout increased the smaller the size of winning vote (on the axis turnout is along the bottom, while winning vote share is on the y axis, each dot represents a parliamentary constituency).

There might be something else obvious that explains the relationship, but I haven't had time to think about it.
