Stopped clocks...
One of Britain's most pro-Monarchy newspapers calls the fiasco 'a national humilation':Could it possibly get worse? We have a future Supreme Governor of the Church of England who can't get married in Church. We have a bride he dare not publicly describe as his future Queen. We have a ceremony validated by an Act he thinks dangerous. We have dissension in the Royal Family and platoons of courtiers who plainly couldn't run a raffle. And the whole world is snickering at this Ruritanian charade. What might have been an occasion for celebration - or at least acceptance - is turning into a national humiliation. Republicans must be loving every minute.
