There are rumours flying around Westminister and the TV news studios that Michael Howard is going to manage a whole day of this election campaign without bringing up immigration or foreigners, or some made-up problem they are causing.There's still six hours 29 minutes to go, but the omens are good. Can he do it? If you see him then please give him all the encouragement you can muster. It's well known that there's a mental 'Wall' about 7pm, and he might break.
