Election fraud
There's been lots of comment about the risk of fraud from postal voting, which seems pretty fair. However thinking about the worry must be that postal voting makes it easier to fake large numbers of votes, not just that it makes it easier to fake votes. For surely it is very easy to have commit fraud in the normal election? What's to stop someone pretending to my girlfriend* and voting in her place, given she's going to be in New Zealand?* Apart from the social shame, obviously.
