Events of last Thursday
This purports to explain the 9:17 mixup, which is that the Metropolitan Police were only told that it was an explosion at Edgware Road at that time, so assumed it had happened at that time.The BBC also reports that the Police believe 3 bombers may have been suicide bombers. This would clearly be highly worrying, though its not confirmed yet, and if you were going to go to the trouble of blowing yourself up one would think there might have been better targets to choose than what were chosen.
