"Verity" over at Samizdata on the London police shooting:Someone walky-talkied those officers to follow that suspect. Who? I believe an operation is underway to show that giving anti-terrorist officers guns is dangerous to the general public. Therefore, we won't be able to arm officers any more. From now on they will fight desperate Islamic bombers with their bare hands.
