October 12th
Reading the Wikipedia Terrorism page I was struck by how many incidents there were in their list of international terrorist incidents that occurred on October 12th - the IRA Brighton bombing, the USS Cole bombing, the 2002 Bali bombings and the 2005 Bali bombings.Checking however apparently the second Bali bombing was on October 1st, so it's not quite as bad as it seemed (I've changed the Wikipedia entry).
