Cape Bloody Cod
This post by Oliver mentions briefly Gordon Brown's perceived liking for Americans (in a political sense). What is remarkable however is that unlike every single other thing written on this subject it doesn't say, and it is all the better for not doing so, that Brown "holidays in Cape Cod".I've never understood what this bit of political information, which no-one cannot know by now, is meant to tell us about a future Brown Premiership. Loads of right-wing Conservatives holiday in France and yet they despise the country's political leaders.
