Nick Cohen on housing
A rather good Nick Cohen column on the pressures on housing in the UK, and the exorbitant prices.He isn't very consistent, I think, about whether the middle-class are beneficiaries or not, and I don't think I agree with his sanguine view on how the very poorest will do - if living in (former) council house accomodation is so good, why do so few "middle-class" people seem to want to live in it despite its generally much cheaper price?
