Wait Rose
I've just been to the newish Waitrose on Marylebone High Street, and they hand out little price scanners so you can scan your own food, then at checkout there's no additional scanning. I thought it was quite good. Normally I'm suspicious of this kind of thing, as it tends to be the company passing costs to the customer. But as you are already putting things into the basket (not sure it would work if there was two or more of you with a trolley) it probably saves time, if not effort.Labels: supermarkets
