By the early 1960s, the private micro-farms that Kruschchev had sporadically encouraged in the Soviet Union and accounted for 3% of cultivated soil were yielding over 33% of the Soviet Union's agricultural output, and by 1965 2/3rd of the potatoes and 3/4 of the eggs.Source: Same as below.
