Peston: out of touch
Robert Peston, today:Let's say Mr and Mrs Slightly-Stretched have a £400,000 mortgage, which is the biggest mortgage allowed under the government's new bailout scheme.
Update: Actually I've changed my mind and think joking about it makes more sense than moping around. So Peston is forgiven.
