No way to run a country
I find some of the Conservatives' langauge rather unsettling. David Davies says "We should tear up the Human Rights Act" while Jeremy Hunt wants to "rip" up the BBC's charter. While I don't agree with Oliver Kamm's argument that New Labour had made Britain a "banana republic", it looks increasingly like the Tories will..Labels: conservatives
